I have been passionate about travel for as long as I can remember. I am extremely fortunate to have friends and family around the world allowing a fabulous excuse to visit many destinations. My most recent excuse was visiting family in South Africa.

In 2016 I solo travelled around the world. I went from sipping Singapore slings in the famous Raffles hotel to sleeping under the stars on the Australian outback floor in a sleeping bag. I spent a great deal of time travelling Australia in particular but Cambodia was eye-opening and was hands down the most interesting country I have ever visited. I was also lucky to experience Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan and the USA on the same trip.

I started my journey with Baldwins Travel in November 2022. I have a real passion for travel, and I have worked in the industry for more than 30 years.  I have been fortunate to visit many countries and have passed this passion for travel on to my 2 grown up children who have also travelled extensively. Top of my list for favourite destination would be Thailand but Las Vegas, Venice, Maldives, and New York come very close. There are so many to mention, such lovely memories in each.

This year I’m off to St Lucia, Croatia, and Mauritius!

My top travel tip…Never travel without insurance.

My favourite destination is…. 

Top of my list for favourite destinations would be Maldives, Canada, Sri Lanka, Croatia, Italy, Madeira and many more. Vancouver Island in particular, as whale watching was an amazing experience which all the family will remember for a long time. 

This year I will be exploring the UK!
